Book review | My thoughts—Tease

A romantic comedy by Camilla Stevens. Honey Dewberry is quite the character. Her southern sweet voice and pink inspired outfits leave the men putty in her hands. Her neighbor has dubbed her Miss Pink. On the other hand, she has dubbed him Clark Kent, tall, dark, and handsome. Honey can tell there is more to Jesse than meets the eye. Jesse, whose real name is Giuseppe Castiglione, is a corporate contract attorney. This story made me think of Paula Abdul’s song Opposites Attract. Although they each changed their names for different reasons, they will find they have more in common they think. Even when Honey proses, they get together to help each other make their respective ex-jealous (which, by the way, never works, and other things happen to occur). But when they finally get together after some of Honey’s Uncle Dickey’s moonshine, Giuseppe will stop being Jesse, and other things will come to light. People should always tell their truth before others do; people have a way of spinning it to be not favorable.

I enjoyed this story, and it was a good read.
