An interracial mafia romance by Khardine Gray writing as Bella Fontaine. Oh my goodness, this book is so poorly written that I honestly could not say that it was a good story to read. The romance between Eric Russo and Indya “Indy” McKenzie should have been fleshed out more. It’s like an insta-lust to love story. I believe this could have been a good story.
Indy has been gone from the Hideaway for seven long years. Now she is back and determined to mend things with her father. When she finds out what is going on, she plans with her cousin to resolve the issue and obtain the money her father needs. Eric has plans to make the Hideaway like the Hamptons; however, his father’s partner’s terms make it hard for him to obtain the property. Eric thinks of a way to have Indy and give her want she wants at the same time. But things don’t always work out the way people plan. He is reminded of the past and lets Indy go. Indy’s past comes back to haunt her; now Eric must find her or lose her forever.
